The Service

TrueFactor is a rate intelligence data platform for the property and casualty insurance industry. We extract, validate, and analyze data from public SERFF (System for Electronic Rates & Forms Filing) regulatory filings and deliver it through a web application and API.

The underlying rate data originates from public regulatory filings. Our service adds value through automated extraction, validation, analysis, and presentation of this data.

Accounts

If you create an account with TrueFactor, you are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account. Please notify us immediately if you become aware of any unauthorized use.

Intellectual Property

The underlying insurance rate data in SERFF filings is public regulatory data. However, TrueFactor's analysis, presentation, extraction methodology, software, user interface, and original content are proprietary and protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our proprietary content without prior written permission.

Limitation of Liability

Rate data provided by TrueFactor is for informational and competitive intelligence purposes only. While we strive for accuracy through automated validation, this data should not be used as the sole basis for rating individual insurance policies.

TrueFactor is not liable for any decisions made based on the data provided through our platform. Users are responsible for independently verifying rate data before using it for policy rating or regulatory compliance purposes.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, TrueFactor shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service.

Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the service at any time, with or without cause, and with or without notice. You may also terminate your account at any time by contacting us.

Changes to Terms
